Broke up with Your Boyfriend? Come to Hawaii Without Him!

Bar at the Proud Peacock

All the single ladies: come to Hawaii to get over your breakup! Why sit around and wonder “what if”? Pack your bags and head to one of the Hawaiian islands with the girls for a ladies’ week out. You can even save money on this trip by booking excursions through Hoku Hawaii Tours to keep you busy and doing your research on the most affordable lodging. Although many people associate Hawaii with romance, that’s not always the case. Single people can have a ton of fun, especially in the heavily populated tourist areas like Waikiki Beach.

Waikiki

This is Oahu’s hottest destination, so head here when you want to hit the clubs. From fine dining to live music at hotels and resorts throughout Waikiki Beach, you’re sure to find just the right bar, lounge, club or tiki bar to hang out at.

Mai Tai Bar: Located just off Waikiki Beach, you don’t have to go far to sip a drink with an umbrella in it while you scope out the action. They have excellent apps here, too, so grab a bite to eat while you socialize. You’ll love the tropical music that fills the night sky, where you can unwind from a bust day of shopping and beaching.

Moose McGillycuddy’s: This popular spot for locals and visitors alike is always hopping. There’s a live band and dancing until 3:30 in the morning, with ½ priced drinks and apps during Happy Hour every day. If you’re there on a Sunday, why not participate in the bikini contest?

Big Island

Gazebo Bar: Nestled within the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, this bar has a must-try signature house drink: the Fredrico. Beautiful views of the Kona Coast beach at sunset are a spectacular sight if you time it right. After eating dinner, stay for more cocktails amidst the many tiki torches.

Kona Brewing Company, Kailua-Kona Pub and Brewery: After a day of shopping or beaching, take a brewery tour here to sample the local craft beer. Best sellers range from Fire Rock Pale to Pacific Golden Ale to Longboard Lager, so grab a mug while ordering up some typical pub food yet with a Hawaiian twist.

Maui

Mele Mele Lounge: If you love Happy Hour, you can’t miss it here. Located at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, you are treated to gorgeous views of the ocean while sipping on some of the best tropical drinks around. Listen to some live music and try an island-style app.

Tiki Bar: If you’re more of a beer drinker and sports lover, head to the Tiki Bar for cold beer and the latest game on the tube. Every night, there’s some kind of live entertainment going on so get in on the Maui spirit and enjoy yourself!

Once you get back home, you’ll have forgotten all about that old boyfriend!
